We're leaving...just not on a jet plane (aka Quest info)

Hey there QUESTERS. We are heading out this Friday, 4/27. Here's the deal

*be at St. Matthias at 4:30pm
*bring a few $$ for Subway in Buena Vista, or a packed sack dinner to eat with us

If you need the packing list or more info, check out http://www.coloradodiocese.org/03_faithformation/quest_07.html, the Diocesan web site for Quest.

For returning home, we'll call parents when we get close, but likely about 3pm.

How about the Great RC Race? If you have an Remote Control car and wanna race, bring it, your charger, and anything else you will need. Scott thinks he is bringing his...but he'll have to do a few repairs first.

Okay...questions, give Fr. Scott at call at 481-3998 or 487-0882. See you on Friday!

I was thinking, and it didn't hurt

Hey there, Scott here.

I was thinking about what you might be thinking about God right now. I'm writing my newsletter articles and am a few minutes from doing my "article". I read an article in WIRED magazine about how open many corporate leaders were being...sharing their strategies, ruminations, and thoughts on business for all the world to see, inluding their competition, employees, and bosses.

Wouldn't it be great if we all were that transparent?

We wouldn't fear one another becuase all the sorry parts of those who might judge us, along with their good parts too, would be there for us to see. You'd be able to see all my not-so-put-toegher parts, I would see yours, and maybe, just maybe, we could help each other rather than critique.

I think that is something blogs might just be good for. Helping one another, letting it all hang out, and seeing what God might be doing in the middle of it all.

Those are my thoughts. And it didn't even hurt.

Hope you each are well.

Hey, check out the calendar on the St. Matthias web page. Go to www.saint-matthias.org/calendar to see what is up at Church. All the Youth Group items will be on there as soon as we can post them. Also, we'll try to post info on upcoming YG events on this blog, so check it out too.

Be good, be graceful, be yourself.
